Bungalow Refurbishment

This was a full refurbishment of a two bedroom bungalow and garden in Ipswich.  The client had a good idea of what they wanted to achive and with our help we made it happen.

First thing was to replace all doors and windows as well as cutting a set of patio doors into the side of the living room.

In the entrance hall the existing cupboards were removed and new space created to house the new fuse board after a full re-wire was completed.

The kitchen was completely gutted and the boiler replaced with a new condensing unit and a full central heating upgrade, also the door to the lounge/diner was moved to create more usable space.

The kitchen was a matt white plain door mixed with a high gloss walnut and finished with  granite worktops, splashback and upstands.

A further benefit of changing the boiler was that we could remove the cylinder and cupboard from the bathroom and create a shower area.

The lounge/diner and bedrooms were updated with additional sockets and plastered, with the lounge having solid oak flooring and all rooms being finished with solid oak skirting, architrave and doors.

A whopping 60m2 of concrete had to be broken out and removed before work on the driveway and garden could commence . a 40m2 patio area was created to the side of the bungalow and fenced for privacy and borders were laid along the path and driveway to complement the stone .
